Stock counter

An NFC tag itself cannot do this. The NFC tag is really just an 'ID' and while it can count it can only count upwards and the only count the number of scans which might not reflect whether someone actually took something or not.

To achieve a stock control system you would need some software that the NFC tag would interact with. You would scan the tag launch the software - either in an App or via a website - and the software would allow you to change the stock levels. Stock level itself would then be stored in a database rather than on the tag itself.

We have our ixkio tag management platform that can do this but there's a few other options available on the market. The point is that you need the NFC tags and some software to achieve this - the tag alone can't do it.
