Seritag launch Lumiio - instant access to essential personal information

Seritag have launched Lumiio - a fantastic new app and product range engineered to allow access to essential personal information (EPI). Originally designed to power the dementia safeguarding wristbands, Lumiio is now being used in a wide range of projects : wristbands to help identify lost children, labels on helmets and bikes for emergency contact info and keyfobs for information on allergies. 

The Lumiio app is available for download from the Apple App store and Google Play store. Lumiio products can be purchased directly from the Lumiio website. 

For our customers that have been purchasing dementia wristbands, NDID (nuerodiversity ID) wristbands and keyfobs, alzheimers assitance bands - we can now offer 'powered by Lumiio' free of charge. We can also provide special 'PIN' codes to activate Lumiio on previously purchased bands. 

How it works

Lumiio is a powerful platform that uses the strength of NFC to enable data to be stored directly on the product. This means : 

• Data is stored securely on the tag and not the internet. No concerns with data breaches or leaked sensitive personal information
• With the app downloaded, the data can be accessed without the internet. We are actively talking to emergency services, first responders and local councils across the country to increase awareness of the app and it's function. 
• Data can be easily changed. Contact information can be updated at any time, thousands of times.

How much does it cost ? 

The app can be used for free. We offer additional services such as SMS alerts, geo scan data and more via a subscription but the core features are free with any Lumiio product or powered by Lumiio product. 

Who can use it ? 

Anyone who wants to allow instant access to contact information. We are adding new Lumiio products all the time to allow for the system to be access by anyone, anywhere for any reason why essential personal information could be needed.
