Scan ability of tags are not determined by the material/ type of tag being used but more about the size.
Our 48x78mm stickers scan the same distance as an NFC cards due to the size being similar to one another.
If you were to use a smaller sticker such as a 25mm sticker this will lessen the scan ability range and a NFC card will scan better as it is larger.
