Do ICODE tags scan better than NTAG213?

There's a large number of factors that affect scan distances and performance - antenna design, size, quality of production and the chip itself.

Technically, ICODE chips can have a longer scan distance than NTAG213, but in practice, for most antenna sizes and most reader, the difference is very small and other factors come into play.

One area that some ICODE chips (the original ICODE SLIX and the new ICODE 3) do work very well is on small antennas. But even then, quality of design and consistency of antenna manufacture can play a more important role.
