A tough ABS plastic NFC nail tag with fully integrated NFC chip. Measuring 37mm long, with a 6mm body and an 8mm diameter head.

We stock this product in small quantities to allow for testing and development. Larger quantities are made to order in around 4 weeks.

The nail tag is available with either NXP's NTAG213 chip or NXP's ICODE SLIX chip. For this product, we recommend using the ICODE SLIX chip as it's better suited to smaller antenna sizes. However, we stock the NTAG213 version for customers who prefer this or use the NTAG213 on other projects. Our ScanStrength rating with the ICODE SLIX is around 8-9mm. The NTAG213 version rates 5-6mm. In either case, the scan distances are extremely short and this product should only be installed in a location where phones can have direct and easy access.

This is a strong unit but it still contains a microchip and antenna - we recommend using as little force as possible - perhaps with some rubber or similar protection over the head - while installing.
