What is a type R NFC tag?
I'm looking for a clear NFC tag to add into books, what is the difference between Wet Inlay tags and Type R tags?

Seritag have created an NFC tag where the chip is exposed on top of the label,. We call this the The Type R. This format has the chip and antenna on the non-adhesive side as they are designed to be applied to the back of a sticker with the adhesive facing down. As the chip is exposed on the top side, we recommend handling with care.
Normal Wet Inlays have the chip/antenna on the adhesive side. The chip is in between two layers of PET plastic, making it slightly more durable.
Both the wet inlay and Type R tags are great products for laminating between card materials, inside packaging or similar.
