What are some cool NFC apps?

There are a few apps on the market we'd recommend for interacting with NFC tags, we've launched are own in fact:

Seritag Encoder App (Android and iOS) - Beginner Friendly. Lets you Read a wide range of NFC Tags, Write and Lock NTAG chips with Text or a URL (the starter pack is made up of NTAG213 chips so this is perfect for getting started!).

NFC Tools (Android & iOS) – The most popular NFC app out there, recommended if you're getting into more advanced interactions. Read, write, and automate actions with NFC tags, like storing URLs or Wi-Fi credentials. Also has a Pro Version

NFC TagWriter by NXP (Android-Recommended & iOS) – NXP manufacture NFC tags and were around at the very beginning so their app is well maintained and allows contains additional QR Code features.

NFC TagInfo by NXP (Android-Recommended & iOS) - If you want to find out a frankly overwhelming amount out about your NFC tags this app provides every detail you could possibly want about an NFC Tag. If you're interested about what the other apps on this list are doing I'd recommend getting this one to check what changes are occurring on the Tag. It's a helpful route into more complex NFC interactions.
