Is there a way to uniquely identify an NFC tag?

Yes each NFC tag as a Unique Identity Number UID. Every NFC tag has a unique serial number UID embedded in it by the manufacturer. This UID is hardcoded into the tag and is permanent meaning it cannot be changed.
The UID is typically used to identify each tag uniquely in a system which makes it useful for tasks like tracking access control and inventory management.

These can be easily extracted from the NFC tag utilising NFC applications such as the Seritag app. Alternative numerous suppliers can provide a UID scan of the NFC tags which the tags are purchased
