Yes it is possible to clone an NFC tag however this depends on the type of tag.
Tags which are not locked with encryption keys can be cloned these will be any tag that is not NTAG424 (NTAG424 can be locked with encryption keys for authentication and anti-counterfeit purposes and therefore cannot be cloned)
Some tags which can be cloned include NTAG213, NTAG215 and NTAG216. These are standard tags which do not have the extra security feature of an NTAG424.
