Can I protect an NFC tag with a password ?

Yes. The NTAG series chips NTAG213 NTAG215 etc have a built-in password protection option. The password protection can be used for just write protect or both read and write.

To encode NFC tags with password protection requires a special app. To help we have built password protection encoding into our Seritag Encoder app.
