Are NFC business cards secure?

Yes, NFC business cards are generally secure, but there are some key points to consider:

Short-range communication: NFC works within a very short range (a few centimetres), making it harder for unauthorized devices to intercept the data.

No personal data storage: The card itself typically doesn’t store sensitive information. Instead, it links to your online profile or contact details stored in the cloud.

Permissions: The recipient must actively tap the card to access the information, adding an extra layer of control.

Added security: One way of adding extra security is to keep your NFC business card in a blocking sleeve. These are made with a layer of aluminium which prevents being able to scan through the card. These are available to purchase on our website.
