Square and rectangular tags aren't as common as round but in many cases, they can fit better and scan better size for size. This well made, neat NFC tag is commonly used for asset tagging of smaller items and for product or packaging use.
This tag is waterproof if applied to a clean, dry surface. The strong PET plastic top layer also provides a good layer of durability and a thinner choice than the PVC disc options.
We can ID print this tag with short ID sequences if required and even simple QR code or datamatrix codes. The small size and printing option makes this a popular choice for asset tagging. We use the highest quality resin ink for printing which provides long term UV and wear resistance.
Supplied on reels of up to 2,000 in larger quantities or strips of 5 in lower quantities. Smaller split reel sizes (500,1,000) can be supplied if required, just let us know.
Encoding Yourself
You can encode your tags with a smartphone and it's quick and easy.
1. Download the NFC tools app - it's free for both iPhone and Android users
2. Open the app and tap 'Write', then add a record
3. Tap 'Custom URL/URI', and then copy and paste your URL into the given text box.
4. Tap OK, and then tap 'Write'
5. Hold your phone over the tag, and your tag will encode. That's it !
