RapidNFC was one of the early pioneers in the NFC industry and helped to raise awareness across Europe and much of the world. As the largest online provider of NFC tags and products in Europe, RapidNFC created many new NFC products and helped many NFC start-ups get going.

Unfortunately, for a number of reasons, not least of which the lack of NFC support (at the time) in Apple's iPhone, RapidNFC closed it's doors gracefully in 2016. However, the advanced encoding and production machinery developed during those years was saved by the founders.

The Return

The founders of RapidNFC kept an eye on the market and two things have happened since RapidNFC closed it's doors. Firstly, Apple finally enabled NFC tag scanning on the iPhone, firstly with a third party app and then fully integrated on the XS and XR. Secondly, there has been a gradual release of more advanced authentication tags.

These two things encouraged a few of the old RapidNFC team to setup Seritag with a more focused approach. Rather than being the superstore that was RapidNFC, Seritag is focused on fast delivery and provisioning of medium-high quantities of NFC tags.

So, Seritag was formed in 2017. If you are an old RapidNFC customer or have heard about the legend that was RapidNFC, then you will be very happy with Seritag. Experience meets service.
