29mm White ICODE SLIX 2

This 29mm white sticker tag uses NXP's ICODE SLIX2 NFC chip and is recommended for use where long term memory retention is required. The ICODE SLIX2 has a specified memory retention of 50 years compared to the standard NTAG series' 10 years.

The ICODE SLIX2 also uses the ISO 15693 standard instead of the NTAG's ISO 14443A standard which, with higher powered readers and large antenna arrays, can also provide a longer scan distance up to a theoretical 1.5m. Note that with mobile phones, typical scan distances are similar to the standard NTAG series chips. Additionally, the chip provides an increased user storage capacity of 320 bytes.

The memory format and encoding of these tags is not the same as the NTAG series. While most mobile phones can encode these tags and all mobiles should be able to read them, we strongly advise testing before larger orders.
